Yesterday, Parliamentary Secretary for Labour and Burnaby North MLA Janet Routledge introduced the new “Burnaby Model” in the provincial legislature in Victoria, BC.

Janet was speaking in support of a circular economy motion where she highlighted some of the newest UCI Climate Cooperative projects including the textile recycling and heat pump cooperative projects that are currently in development.
Both new cooperative initiatives, supported through international expertise and core funding from Vancity Credit Union, will help British Columbia meet our climate targets.
