We’re excited to be welcoming our newest co-op to the UCI Network: Reach Out Fundraising Cooperative. Reach Out was founded this summer by Amos Teo, Miguel Garcia, and Semia Lindow, graduates of the UCI’s inaugural cooperative community builder training program.
“The UCI’s Cooperative Community Builder Training Program was an invaluable introduction to the world of co-operatives, the various types of co-operatives and different kinds of governance structures that exist.
I particularly enjoyed meeting and working with a group of like-minded individuals, as well as getting practical experience in starting up a co-operative, with a huge emphasis on fostering and managing open channels of communication in the group.
The UCI has also been wonderful in providing advice and support during this incubation period for our co-op!” shared cooperative worker-owner Amos Teo.

We founded Reach Out as a team of diverse professionals who recognize the significant challenges non-profits and cooperatives face in accessing affordable, ethical fundraising, and marketing support. As the founders, Amos Teo, Miguel Garcia, and Semia Lindow, we brought together our experience in technology, community organizing, and data science to challenge industry exploitation and offer an honest alternative.

Our team harnesses its varied skills to develop customized solutions that help our clients succeed.
