CLEANING COOPERATIVE
The Cleaning Cooperative is a new unionized cooperative service that provides residential, office, and small business cleaning services using sustainable products.
The cooperative offers a unionized alternative to the small and often exploitative residential cleaning services. As a worker-owned cooperative, cleaners take home a minimum of 80% of their cleaning services fees with 7% to 20% covering their cooperative overhead, operations, marketing, and worker training programs.
The Cooperative is piloting with service offerings in Burnaby and New West in the Spring of 2024.
